The country has always benefited from the labor of Black Women fighting against oppression and for freedom. In Dr. Gay’s NYtimes op-ed, she amplifies her purpose and vision to ensure that the academy remains a place of courage and truth. I intend to stay in that fight right along with her amplifying Antionette Candia-Bailey’s call TO BE HEARD.
